Pleurospermum uralense merupakan tumbuhan dwimusim atau menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa timur hingga Korea, Jepang utara dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Pleurospermum uralense diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georg Franz Hoffmann pada tahun 1814.
