Pleurothallis tamaensis merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela barat laut (Táchira). Nama ilmiah Pleurothallis tamaensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ernesto Foldats Andins pada tahun 1968.
