Pluchea chingoyo merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Peru hingga Chili utara. Nama ilmiah Pluchea chingoyo diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1836.
