Pluchea rufescens merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Mauritius. Nama ilmiah Pluchea rufescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1987.
