Poa gunnii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Tasmania. Nama ilmiah Poa gunnii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joyce Winifred Vickery pada tahun 1970.
