Poa speluncarum merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Türkiye. Nama ilmiah Poa speluncarum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Richard Edmondson pada tahun 1985.
