Poa tenera merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Australia tenggara. Nama ilmiah Poa tenera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1858.
