Podagrostis trichodes merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Venezuela barat laut hingga Peru. Nama ilmiah Podagrostis trichodes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 2020.
