Podalyria sericea merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Podalyria sericea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Cranke Andrews pada tahun 1811.
