Podochilus rhombeus merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Nusa Tenggara (Bali), Sulawesi. Nama ilmiah Podochilus rhombeus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Jacobus Smith pada tahun 1917.
