Podolepis nutans merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia barat daya. Nama ilmiah Podolepis nutans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joachim Steetz pada tahun 1845.
