Podophyllum hexandrum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Berberidaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Afghanistan timur laut hingga China bagian tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan himalayan mayapple. Nama ilmiah Podophyllum hexandrum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Forbes Royle pada tahun 1834.
