Poecilostachys oplismenoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nigeria hingga Kenya dan kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Poecilostachys oplismenoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eduard Hackel pada tahun 1987.
