Pogonospermum laetum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Angola (Malange). Nama ilmiah Pogonospermum laetum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Spencer Le Marchant Moore pada tahun 2022.
