Pogostemon travancoricus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India selatan. Nama ilmiah Pogostemon travancoricus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Richard Henry Beddome pada tahun 1869.
