Poikilacanthus glandulosus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil tenggara dan selatan hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Poikilacanthus glandulosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1984.
