Polpoda capensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Molluginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Polpoda capensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Borivoj Presl pada tahun 1829.
