Polycarpaea corymbosa merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis dan subtropis. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan oldman's cap. Nama ilmiah Polycarpaea corymbosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jean-Baptiste Lamarck pada tahun 1797.
