Polycarpon tetraphyllum subsp. apurense merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia timur, Venezuela, Paraguay, hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Polycarpon tetraphyllum subsp. apurense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 2021.
