Polygala amara subsp. brachyptera merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Polandia selatan hingga Carpathians. Nama ilmiah Polygala amara subsp. brachyptera diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Hippolyte Chodat pada tahun 1906.
