Polygala arenaria merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Polygalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Polygala arenaria diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1802.
