Polygala chinensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Polygalaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan Asia tropis dan subtropis hingga Kepulauan Caroline. Nama ilmiah Polygala chinensis diperkenalkan oleh Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
