Polygala cymosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Polygalaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan tall pinebarren milkwort. Nama ilmiah Polygala cymosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Thomas Walter pada tahun 1788.
