Polygala myrtifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Polygalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan myrtle-leaf milkwort. Nama ilmiah Polygala myrtifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
