Polygala recognita adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Polygalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Polygala recognita diperkenalkan oleh Robert Hippolyte Chodat pada tahun 1893.
