Polygala setacea merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Polygalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Georgia hingga Florida. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan coastal plain milkwort. Nama ilmiah Polygala setacea diperkenalkan oleh André Michaux pada tahun 1803.
