Polygala velata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polygalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko (Guerrero, Oaxaca, Chiapas). Nama ilmiah Polygala velata diperkenalkan oleh Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1916.
