Polygonum icaricum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Aegea (Samothraki, Ikaria). Nama ilmiah Polygonum icaricum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl Heinz Rechinger pada tahun 1934.
