Polygonum oxyspermum merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Norwegia selatan hingga Baltik. Nama ilmiah Polygonum oxyspermum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Anton von Meyer pada tahun 1824.
