Polylepis lanuginosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Polylepis lanuginosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1824.
