Polyosma brachystachys merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Escalloniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kaledonia Baru. Nama ilmiah Polyosma brachystachys pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rudolf Schlechter pada tahun 1906.
