Polyosma buxea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Escalloniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Polyosma buxea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Mattfeld pada tahun 1938.
