Polyosma gigantea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Escalloniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Polyosma gigantea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1923.
