Polypodium glycyrrhiza merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kamchatka, Kepulauan Aleut, hingga Amerika Serikat barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan licorice fern. Nama ilmiah Polypodium glycyrrhiza pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Daniel Cady Eaton pada tahun 1856.
