Polypogon imberbis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Amerika Selatan bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Polypogon imberbis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 1896.
