Polypogon mollis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Tristan da Cunha. Nama ilmiah Polypogon mollis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Louis-Marie Aubert du Petit-Thouars pada tahun 1981.
