Polyscias farinosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Ethiopia. Nama ilmiah Polyscias farinosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alire Raffeneau Delile pada tahun 1894.
