Polyscias zippeliana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Papua (termasuk Kepulauan Aru), Northern Territory utara, hingga Queensland utara dan timur laut. Nama ilmiah Polyscias zippeliana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1907.
