Polystichum microchlamys merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kamchatka hingga Jepang utara dan tengah dan Kepulauan Aleut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan attu hollyfern. Nama ilmiah Polystichum microchlamys diperkenalkan oleh Konrad Hermann Heinrich Christ pada tahun 1915.
