Polystichum platylepis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil selatan (and Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Polystichum platylepis diperkenalkan oleh Antoine Laurent Apollinaire Fée pada tahun 1869.
