Polystichum platyphyllum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas) hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Polystichum platyphyllum diperkenalkan oleh Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1836.
