Polystichum pungens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polypodiaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada batang pohon lain (epifit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Polystichum pungens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georg Friedrich Kaulfuss pada tahun 1836.
