Ponapea hentyi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Bismarck (New Britain). Nama ilmiah Ponapea hentyi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frederick Burt Essig pada tahun 2011.
