Populus fremontii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat barat laut hingga Meksiko barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan fremont cottonwood. Nama ilmiah Populus fremontii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sereno Watson pada tahun 1875.
