Populus × smithii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Nebrasca. Nama ilmiah Populus × smithii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Robert Bernard Boivin pada tahun 1966.
