Portulaca howellii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Portulacaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Galápagos. Nama ilmiah Portulaca howellii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carlos Maria Diego Enrique Legrand pada tahun 1966.
