Portulaca meyeri merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Portulacaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Argentina (Corrientes). Nama ilmiah Portulaca meyeri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carlos Maria Diego Enrique Legrand pada tahun 1945.
