Potamogeton compressus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semak dari famili Potamogetonaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh di air (hidrofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eurasia beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Potamogeton compressus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
