Potentilla agrimonioides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa timur hingga Mongolia dan Himalaya barat. Nama ilmiah Potentilla agrimonioides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich August Marschall von Bieberstein pada tahun 1808.
