Potentilla alba adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan white cinquefoil. Nama ilmiah Potentilla alba pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
